Who was Anna Clark?

She doesn't exist!
She was Thomas's widow, Anna Cave née Jones, mother of Albert, Walter and Herbert, and this is simply a mistake by the enumerator
(She was variously named as Ann, Anne, Hannah on the censuses.)

Thomas Cave married Anna Jones, not Clark. His marriage certificate clearly states "Anna Jones, of full age, spinster, of Clarence Street. Father: John Jones, Farmer.

Her children, Elizabeth, Albert, Walter, Alexander and Herbert, were all registered to a mother with the maiden name "Jones"; (the following copied directly from General Register Office (GRO) website.)

It is disappointing to see so many public trees on Ancestry where people have Anna Clark, complete with photo attached, listed as wife of Thomas Cave and the mother of these five children, despite also presenting evidence to the contrary. When one person makes a mistake it spreads like a disease.

Anna Clark!! age 57, domestic housekeeper, born N Wales, Halkyn, (Flint).
Walter Cave, age 23, manager bread and flour shop, born Liverpool.
Herbert Cave, age 19, ship's steward, born Liverpool.

Who was Anna Clark?

She didn't exist!
