John's Death:
John died on 29th May 1859, following an accident at work.
From the Liverpool Mercury, Friday 3rd June, 1859:
DEATH FROM LOCKJAW. An inquest was held on Tuesday on the body of John Catterall, a labourer, aged 49,
who resided at 9, Knowles Court, Kensington. He was employed by the Corporation in removing stones from the Trafford Dock to Lime Street
and on the 2nd of May he hurt his toe by letting one of the stones fall upon it. He died on Sunday last from tetanus. Verdict accordingly.
